Town Hall Special City Council Meeting – Englewood Emergency Storm Response – Wednesday, November 14th @7PM
On Wednesday, November 14th at 7PM, please join me and the Englewood City Council along with David Hollenbeck, PSE&G Regional Public Affairs Manager, Bergen County, Deputy Chief of Police Lawrence Suffern, Director of the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and Tim Dacey, City Manager, for a Town Hall meeting on the post storm emergency response in Englewood. Mr. Hollenbeck, a PSE&G representative will be on hand to give insight into the PSE&G restoration effort and effect of the storm on the entire power distribution network and Englewood’s residents. From the City OEM, Deputy Chief Suffern will detail the Englewood response through OEM’s operation throughout the storm and further planning. Residents are invited to attend to contribute to the self assessment and help in planning for future emergencies. The meeting will culminate in a discussion on long term planning, citizen involvement and ways in which the City can better prepare itself for large scale, citywide emergencies.
