Englewood’s Fireworks: Thanks for a Successful Event!

Dear Residents,

Thank you for helping to make this year’s fireworks show a success!  Yesterday’s    fireworks show was the best the City of Englewood has had yet, with thousands people joining together on the Dwight Morrow High School front lawn to celebrate Independence Day.

It was a festive evening where a crowd as diverse as the City of Englewood gathered to eat, dance, and socialize together in celebration of our great country.  We celebrated unity as one country, as well as one City.  The strength of our community is its diversity; and its strength is enhanced when we join together as one community.  Last night I was proud to be your mayor.

Once again, I would like to thank Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for sponsoring this year’s event and making it possible.  Additionally, I would like to thank the Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Carlisle, and all City Employees who helped to coordinate this event and make it a success.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Mayor Frank Huttle III
